Is this really a free day of skiing and riding? What's the catch?
There is no catch! We rented the mountain for the day, so nobody has to pay for a lift ticket. Simply sign up as a No Boundaries member, and you'll receive an email in the week leading up to the event that you can present at the ticket window for a free lift ticket.
Why are you doing this?
We believe that everyone should have access to skiing and riding, and we want to spread that message. The ski industry has changed a lot in the last few years. There has been so much consolidation, and that's made it difficult for the casual skier or rider to get on the slopes because single day lift ticket prices have gotten so high. We provide some of the best lift ticket deals in the Northeast and we want everyone to know that skiing and riding doesn't have to be expensive.

When is the No Boundaries Free Day?
March 7th, 2022 at Black Mountain of Maine in Rumford, Maine.

What time will the mountain be open at?
The plan is to have the mountain open from 9am to 3pm, but as always, operating hours are subject to change due to numerous factors, such as weather conditions.
What will be open at Black Mountain of Maine?
It's too soon to know what the conditions will be like and which trails will be open, but we plan to have the summit lift and novice lift open. The Café and The Last Run Pub will be open for food and beverage service, and the Rental Shop will also be open for anyone that needs to purchase rentals for the day.

I've never been to Black Mountain of Maine. What's it like?
You're in for a real treat. BMOM is one of the hidden gems of New England Skiing. They have nearly 1,400 vertical feet of skiing and 50 marked trails for all abilities. BMOM also has one of the most impressive glade networks in the Northeast. There will be something for everyone to enjoy at the No Boundaries Free Day!

Do I need to be a No Boundaries member to attend?
Yes, but it's very easy and completely free to sign up. Click here to become a member. All members will receive an email in the week before the No Boundaries Free Day that they will be asked to present (either printed or on your phone) at the ticket window to pick up their ticket. Children who do not have an email address will be welcome with a parent/guardian who is a member!

You're also raising money for a charity that day?
Yes! We wanted to use this opportunity to give back to the community. We'll be making a donation to Youth Enrichment Services (YES) after the No Boundaries Free Day. Their Operation SnowSports program helps underprivileged youth build self-confidence and leadership skills by getting them on skis or a snowboard. All of this is done at little or no cost to the families. They want to make skiing and riding affordable and accessible to youth in the Boston area, and we think that's a noble mission! It's free to ski or ride that day, so do I still need a lift ticket?
Yes. For liability reasons, Black Mountain of Maine needs to make sure everyone has a lift ticket. Please stop by the ticket office to grab your ticket before you head to the lift.
