NO BOUNDARIES
The Northeast's best lift ticket deals
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this really a free day of skiing and riding? What's the catch?
There is no catch! We rented the mountain for the day, so nobody has to pay for a lift ticket. Simply sign up as a No Boundaries member, and you'll receive an email in the week leading up to the event that you can present at the ticket window for a free lift ticket.
Why are you doing this?
We believe that everyone should have access to skiing and riding, and we want to spread that message. The ski industry has changed a lot in the last few years. There has been so much consolidation, and that's made it difficult for the casual skier or rider to get on the slopes because single day lift ticket prices have gotten so high. We provide some of the best lift ticket deals in New England and we want everyone to know!

When is the No Boundaries Free Day?
February 3rd, 2020 at Magic Mountain in Londonderry, Vermont. It's the day after the Super Bowl!

What time will the mountain be open at?
The plan is to have the mountain open from 9am to 4pm, but as always, operating hours are subject to change due to numerous factors, such as weather conditions.
What will be open at Magic Mountain?
It's too soon to know what the conditions will be like, but there will be a chair lift to the summit, the lodge will be open, and so will the Black Line Tavern. We'll also have other brands and partners at the mountain that day.

I've never been to Magic Mountain. What's it like?
Magic Mountain's motto is "Where skiing still has it's soul". It's a classic New England mountain with an old school feel where everyone can feel like they're at home. They are known for some of the best expert terrain in the area, but they also have beginner trails directly from the summit. Everyone will be able to enjoy the No Boundaries Free Day!

Do I need to be a No Boundaries member to attend?
Yes, but it's very easy and completely free to sign up. Click here to become a member. All members will receive an email in the week before the No Boundaries Free Day that they will be asked to present (either printed or on your phone) at the ticket window to pick up their ticket. If you don't become a member before the event, you will have the opportunity to sign up on site, but becoming a member in advance is your easiest option. Children who do not have an email address will be welcome with a parent/guardian who is a member!

You're also raising money for a charity that day?
Yes! We wanted to use this opportunity to give back to the community. We'll be making a donation to a Youth Enrichment Services (YES) after the No Boundaries Free Day. Their Operation SnowSports program helps underprivileged youth build self-confidence and leadership skills by getting them on skis or a snowboard. All of this is done at little or no cost to the families. They want to make skiing and riding affordable and accessible to youth in the Boston area, and we think that's a noble mission! We'll have raffles and other items at the No Boundaries Free Day to help us raise money for this great cause.

My company/brand/group is interested in having a presence at the No Boundaries Free Day. What can I do?
We're going to have people and brands that understand and align with our mission help us make the No Boundaries Free Day a celebration to remember. If you think you could be a good fit, contact us today!

It's free to ski or ride that day, so do I still need a lift ticket?
Yes. For liability reasons, Magic Mountain needs to make sure everyone has a lift ticket. Please stop by the ticket office to grab your ticket before you head to the lift.

Will there be live music?
Yes! Julie Rhodes will be performing in the afternoon in the Black Line Tavern. The music is sponsored by our friends at First Chair Travel Co. and Narragansett Beer.
