Welcome to the fifth edition of the Lift Ticket Rundown — your weekly(ish) guide to the best lift ticket deals and promos across New England.

Before jumping into the deals, a quick heads up: there's only 3 weeks left (but also only a couple of condos remaining!) to sign up for our ski & stay weekend at Smugglers Notch. 3 days of lift tickets and 2 nights ski in/ski out lodging for as low as $420 per person. Our similar deals at Sunday River and Jay Peak are also filling up fast!

If you woke up smiling this morning, you’re not alone — much of the region just picked up 6+ inches of fresh snow, giving us some of the best early-season conditions we’ve seen in years. With so many mountains opening earlier and conditions better than usual, this weekend is prime time for scoring a sweet ticket deal.

This week’s theme: Early-season steals + your last chance for many preseason specials.

  • Santa Sunday on December 14th at Sunday River. Register in advance for $30 (all proceeds to charity), dress up as Santa, and get a free lift ticket for the day as well as a voucher to come back later in the season.

  • A quick reminder that Bolton Valley and Whiteface are also holding Santa Sunday events on December 14th. Dress as Santa and ski for free.

  • Tomorrow is the last day to buy Epic Pass products. We know many of you aren't interested in a shelling out hundreds for a season pass, but there's a nice hack for NH skiers.  Buy a 1-day, holiday restricted, Epic Day Pass for just $66 and head to Wildcat, Attitash, Sunapee, or Crotched any day this season

  • There are two days left to buy the TBD Ticket for Sugarbush. For $99 you get a lift ticket good any day this season, as well as a bonus day in the spring. 2 days for under $100? Tough to beat.

  • $60 tickets for Pleasant Mountain on Saturday and Sunday for opening weekend.

  • Cannon is still offering early season ticket rates through 12/14. $79 for adults when purchased in advance.

  • Jay Peak is also offering early season pricing this weekend. Adult tickets are just $69 for Saturday or Sunday when purchased online.

  • Tickets are just $67 for adults at Waterville this weekend and kids 7 and under can ski for free.

  • Ragged Mountain opens on Friday and adult tickets are just $69 when purchased online through the weekend

  • A reminder that this Saturday is the beginning of Kids Ski Free Week at Stratton. Kids 17 and under ski for free from 12/6 through 12/12.

  • It's also Kids Ski Free Week at Sugarbush, but only for kids 12 and under. Free lift tickets from 12/6 through 12/12

Between the new snow, the expanding terrain, and a fresh batch of early-season deals, this is shaping up to be the best start to winter we’ve had in years. We’ll keep digging for the biggest steals and sending them straight to your inbox as the season builds.
