We’re back with the third edition of the Lift Ticket Rundown, your weekly(ish) guide to the best lift ticket deals and promos across New England. Snowmaking is cranking, temps are dropping, and the snow is piling up fast across the northern resorts. More mountains are spinning lifts every day — which means more ways for you to ski for less.
Before jumping into the deals, a quick heads up: our ski & stay weekends at Smugglers Notch, Sunday River, and Jay Peak are filling fast. Grab your crew and lock in 3 days and 2 nights at top resorts with ski-in/ski-out lodging for as low as $415 per person.
This week’s theme: more early-season freebies and opening weekend steals. Whether you're chasing your first turns of the season or looking for cheap laps with the family, these deals deliver.
Dress up as Santa at Bolton Valley's Santa Sunday on December 14th and get a free lift ticket for the day.
It's opening weekend at many ski areas, but the best opening weekend deals we've found are Bolton Valley ($49), Jiminy Peak ($59), Cannon ($64) and Jay Peak ($69). Prices shown are for online, advanced purchases of adult lift tickets for Saturday 11/22 and Sunday 11/23.
Ski New Hampshire sells anytime lift ticket vouchers to several NH ski areas, but by far the best value is a $29 lift ticket to Dartmouth Skiway. Pay $29 now and ski any day this season at the Skiway, including holidays!
Some of the other Ski New Hampshire anytime tickets are already sold out, but there are still great deals for McIntyre ($42), King Pine ($64) and Pats Peak ($78).
Need a cheap place to rest your head in the White Mountains? Book a bunk for $45/night (or $95 for a private room) at the Barn Door Hostel in Rumney, NH and get access to $55 lift tickets at Tenney Mountain (10 minutes away) and $83 lift tickets at Waterville Valley (35 minutes away).
Early season is prime time for scoring deals, and we’re just getting started. As more mountains open, expect more steals, specials, and under-the-radar promos coming your way.
