Welcome to Issue #2 of the Lift Ticket Rundown for the 26/27 ski season. We are your guide to the best lift ticket deals and promos across New England. We've rounded up even more great preseason deals for you, especially for our members with kids. Before we get into the deals, a few quick things.

Ski & Stay Deal update

Our ski weekend deals include 2 nights of slope side lodging and 3 days of lift tickets for as low as $415 per person. We still have space available for the Jay Peak weekend in March, but only a handful of condos remain for the Sunday River weekend in January and Smugglers' Notch weekend in February. All of these deals always sell out, so head to our Upcoming Deals page to see details and book your spot.

Another New England resort offered a flash sale earlier this week (see details in the list of deals below). We sent an Insider Alert, but if you haven't signed up to receive them you probably missed out. Sign up for Insider Alerts so you don't miss the next one!

Featured Gear Deal: The Ski Pack

Introducing "The Ski Pack", our first Featured Gear Deal of the season. If you've ever been skiing with young kids, you know how difficult the trek from the parking lot to the lodge can be. The Ski Pack aims to make that journey just a little bit easier. It's a simple yet brilliant product that allows kids to easily carry their own skis or snowboard on their back. We've already used this product and can assure you that it makes parents' lives a little easier. The kids love it, too!

No Boundaries members can get 15% off The Ski Pack or The Rider Pack using discount code NOBOUNDARIES at checkout. That's on top of a general 20% discount currently being offered. If you have kids, this is definitely worth checking out. The bags make excellent gifts, too!

Now, onto the ticket deals. This week's theme: skiing with kids and friends for less.

  • Jiminy Peak offers their Value Card which gets you one free lift ticket plus $30 off every other ticket you buy (including Twilight Tickets). At just $99, it's a great deal even if you ski there only once.

  • Ski Butternut is offering a 3-pack of tickets for $285, but these are fully transferable, meaning you can use all three yourself or share them with friends. (There was a Flash Sale ending yesterday for this same deal for only $199. If you're subscribed to Insider Alerts, we were able to inform you. Sign up for Insider Alerts today so you don't miss the next flash deal!)

  • Through October, Cranmore is discounting their Adult Learn to Ski & Snowboard package to just $99. It includes a beginner lift ticket, lesson, and rentals. The package can be used all season and is fully transferable, making it a great gift idea for the future skier in your life.

  • Killington is New England's largest ski resort, so their tickets are never "cheap", but if you do plan to ski a day or two at The Beast this winter, there are two days left to get a K-Ticket Voucher or K-Day Pass. You won't find a better price.

  • Here's a unique one. Buy a $150 ticket to a Boston Bruins game and get a free midweek ticket to Loon. If you were planning to catch a Bruins game anyways, why not get a free ski day out of it.

  • Boston Ski & Sports Club is hosting their annual Blizzard winter kick off event and tickets are $29. Attendees will get "Free and BOGO lift ticket offers" although the organizers haven't shared the details. But hey, if you're in the area and looking for a fun night, free is free.

  • If you have kids, there are some amazing programs that can help your family ski for cheap, both in New England AND if you plan to take a trip out west.

    • For Maine residents, the WinterKids Passport is just $40 for the family and gets your kids free or cheap tickets at most Maine ski areas.

    • 4th and 5th graders can get a lift ticket to every ski area in New Hampshire for just $59 with SkiNH's Passport Program. Residents of ANY state can get this deal.

    • SkiVermont has a Fifth Grade Passport program that gets fifth graders in ANY state 3 tickets to every ski area in the state for just $40.

    • If you're taking a family trip to Colorado or Utah, think twice before you get the kids an Epic or Ikon pass. The Ski Utah Passport gets 4th, 5th, or 6th graders from ANY state 3 days of skiing at each Utah ski resort for only $79. In Colorado, the Kids Ski Passport Program gets students from Kindergarten through 6th grade 4 tickets to each of 19 resorts for only $76.

Ski season may not be here yet, but the preseason specials are sure to keep coming. Stay tuned for more deals!
